1st June - 31st August 2009 - Guinness Storehouse Summer Festival
The Guinness Storehouse is hosting a season of music, lectures, tours and demonstrations to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the GUINNESS Company.

15th - 16th August 2009 - Ukulele Hooley Festival
The first Ukulele Festival in Ireland hopes to spread the word of this wonderful and often misunderstood little instrument. "Small is Beautiful". A talented group of international musicians will come to Dublin to mark the ukulele's 130th birthday.


22nd - 29th August 2009 - National Heritage Week 2009
Each year many national and local community organisations participate by organising events throughout the country. There is something to appeal to almost everyone and the main aim is to build awareness of our built, natural and cultural heritage thereby encouraging its conservation and preservation.

29th - 30th August 2009 - Dun Laoghaire Festival of World Cultures

4th- 6th September 2009 - Eletric Picnic

5th - 20th September 2009 - Dublin Fringe Festival

10th - 18th September 2009 - International Puppet Festival Ireland
Ireland's only festival dedicated to the art of puppetry and features up to 10 of the worlds best puppet theatre companies in mid September each year.


12th - 13th September 2009 - SeptemberFest
The two-day festival will showcase Ireland's artisan beers, ciders and liqueurs as well as a wide array of local food producers all in the delightful surrounds of Phoenix Park.


24th September - 11th October 2009 - Ulster Bank Dublin Theatre Festival
This festival is celebrating its 52nd Anniversary this year, and it promises to exhilerate, challenge and dazzle the world as never before.

25th September 2009 - Dublin Culture Night
A night of entertainment, discovery and adventure in the city as over 120 arts and cultural organisations open their doors until late with hundreds of free events, tours, talks and performances for you to enjoy.

8th - 11 October 2009 - Darklight Festival
Darklight is Ireland's premier festival for filmmakers, animators and artists whose work explores the convergence of art, film and technology.


22nd - 26th October 2009 - Horrorthon Film Festival
Brave cinema-goers who join hundrds of genreaficionados making their way to the IFI for the Horrorthon can expect a relentless weekend of guts, gore, shocks and sheer psychological terror interrupted only by darkly comic cackles and kitsch classics. 26th October 2009 - Dublin Marathon 2009
Running through the Georgian streets of Dublin will be 10,000 athletes including both locals and international visitors. Come and support them!

30th October - 1st November 2009 - Temple Bar Chocolate Festival
Who doesn't like chocolate? And what better way to celebrate such a yummy thing than with a festival dedicated entirely to it!!!

11th December 2009 - Corona's Christmas Party
